Comic Books
I subscribe to several monthly comic books. I used to work at Planet X Comics in York, PA so they are my preferred hook-up for comics but I encourage you to frequent your local comic book stores and to support local business. I have to watch the number of subscriptions I have; they can get out of control pretty quickly and easily. I had to down-grade a lot when I was out of work and have proudly kept the numbers down! Here are the titles, in no particular order: Wonder Woman Arrow Green Arrow He-Man Buffy the Vampire Slayer Game of Thrones MegaMan {for my boys} Adventure Time {also for the boys} Any Minnie & Me, Princesses or TinkerBell magazines {for my daughter} **** There are so so many good titles out there! It's hard, I have to not wander the store when I'm there or my list jumps easily to 12 titles, then 20, next thing you know I've got like 34! Comics are like crack: highly addictive. Handle with care the first time you go into a comic book store! I'm also reading The Walking Dead in trade paperback {TPB}, which is the monthly comics collected anywhere from 4-10 monthly comics at a time and bound, like a book or graphic novel. The series has been running so long, I think they are up to volume 41 or something in the trades! My corresponding Pinterest board: LaLa Comic Books and Art |
